The translation of this book is much delayed not only because of the shortage of MYR staff, but also mostly due to our contemplation between should and should not. Because Michelle is fluent in English as well, we have been weighing the possibility if she will be publishing her book in English in future if she does, we will be some sort of infringing her autobiographys copyright.
However, in her chat log on 5th Oct 2006, she has clearly indicated that she will not be publishing an English version, thus, MYR takes up this responsibility to satisfy the curiosity of her English educated / non-Chinese literate fans.

It is our ultimate aim for our translation to bear the exact same meaning as the Chinese version. While it might be impossible as there are structures differences between Chinese and English, the general meaning would be maintained. |
iii |
We will be scanning pictures within the book sparingly, because if youre a true fan, you will buy her book for the pictures. Our job is only to translate the Chinese words you do not understand. |
iv |
As our translators are voluntary and not professional, MYR will not be held responsible for any misunderstanding caused through our translations. We also do not translate 100% contents of this book, only the vital parts. Thus, if you really want to read the entire book, it is still best you buy the book. |
