'The Sniper' directed by renowned director Dante Lam will be premiered in the upcoming '33rd Hong Kong International Film Festival'. The movie has completed filming for more than a year but was delayed release due to Edison Chen's incident, and has now chosen to hit the screens with much grandeur during the Hong Kong International Film Festival. The highlight of this movie is not merely that this is a production of Golden Horse director Dante Lam after his hit, 'The Beast Stalker', but also becomes Mainland siu sang, Huang Xiao Ming's first collaboration in a Hong Kong mega production, also the first collaboration between singer-actor Richie Ren with movie industry new talent, Michelle Ye.

 

Michelle Ye who has long become popular among audience from the airing of 'Triumph in the Skies', 'Eternal Happiness' and 'World's Finest' has successfully progressed onto the big screen. 'The Sniper' is her second big screen production after last year's 'Lady Cop, Papa Crook' where she first appeared as a pregnant lady, successfully portraying a strong yet gentle wife of a mafia boss, earning recognition from all. Michelle Ye is becoming the favourite female lead of several renowned directors, collaborating with Dante Lam in 'Undercover Hidden Dagon' and 'The Sniper', with Johnny To in 'Assassins' and 'Vengeance'. With her unique performance, and fluent English as well as Pu Tong Hua, this lady of Hangzhou definitely has a long way to go in her big screens career path.

 

Michelle Ye who has gained popularity in movie industry is also favored by many in the fashion industry, invited ceaselessly by Cosmo, Trends Health, Trends Home, L' Officiel Hommes magazines for interviews. Michelle Ye has recently accepted filming a new movie, where she will be challenging the thriller movie theme, her breakthrough is again much anticipated.
